ABOUT 33 HAWLEY

33 Hawley is a project of the Northampton Community Arts Trust.

The Northampton Community Arts Trust was formed on a conservation land trust model to own and maintain affordable space for artists in Northampton in perpetuity. 33 Hawley is the result of that vision.

There are three organizations that program at 33 Hawley, the Northampton Center for the Arts (NCFA), A.P.E at Hawley, and Northampton Open Media (NOM).

The Northampton Community Arts Trust is dedicated to sustaining the long-term vitality of the Northampton community by acquiring and preserving affordable, accessible spaces for creative work.

The Northampton Center for the Arts (NCFA) vision is to inspire, sustain and embolden our local arts ecology in Hampshire, Hampden, and Franklin Counties. NCFA provides affordable space for artists, performers, and educators while developing programming dedicated to arts education, multidisciplinary collaborations, and community connections.

Available Potential Enterprises, Ltd (A.P.E.) is an artist-led, artist-centered non-profit organization supporting contemporary artists working in all disciplines by stewarding the spaces in which they create, perform and exhibit their work. A.P.E is dedicated to fostering relationships, encounters, and exchanges that nourish the capacity for imagination.

Northampton Open Media is a community media arts center whose mission is to serve as a forward-looking organization enabling expression of all kinds across mediums, providing resources and programming and educational opportunities to the community through all means technologically available.
